Pizza dough recipe

There is pizza for all tastes! For this reason I thought to teach you the recipe for homemade pizza dough! A simple basic recipe that is prepared with few ingredients and then garnished as you see fit.

Here my recipe for make pizza at home.

For 4 people:

• 300 gr of manitoba flour

• 250 gr of white flour type 0

• 50 gr of semolina flour

• 10 gr of fresh yeast or 3 gr of dry yeast

• 15 gr of fine salt

• 6 gr of sugar

• 18 gr of extra virgin olive oil

• 400 gr of water.


For the dough, mix the flours , add yeast and 70% of the water. mix together and leave for a few minutes, (You can do by hand or with the machine for 5 minutes)

Add sugar, salt and the rest of water and mix for 10 more minutes until you have a smooth, springy, soft dough

Add the olive oil and mix until is incorporated.

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with clingfilm and leave in a warm place until doubled in size.

Cut in pieces and put in a trail with a olive oil on the bottom of the pizza, on the top as well and spread the dough all over the trail. let rest for 40 more minutes.

For the top you can garnish as you like and cook in the preheat oven at 230 degrees until it looks nice and gold on the bottom and on the top.

I suggest some of my favorite topping ideas:

tomato and mozzarella;

tomato, basil and stracciatella;

onions potato and mozzarella ;

onions tuna and mozzarella;

broccoli, fresh sausage and mozzarella;

truffle, mushroom, fresh sausage, tomato and mozzarella.
