Today I wake up and I had some leftover into the fridge so I decide to make something delicious.
Don’t let your leftovers go to waste, turn them into something surprising and delicious like pasta al forno (baked pasta),
with baked pasta you’re never wrong!
The pasta al forno is a traditional pasta made with leftover tomato pasta with meat, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. is almost like arancini, created to reduce the leftovers.
I didn’t have pasta cooked from yesterday so I made a fresh one.
INGREDIENTS:
- leftover tomato sauce
- leftover bolognese sauce
- leftover mozzarella
- leftover milk for besciamella
- pasta De checco
- parmesan
- salt
- olive oil
METHOD:
Boil the pasta in plenty of salted water and drain it through cooked.
Take the bolognese sauce and add it to the pasta.
Mix the ingredients well with a spoon
Then spread a veil of béchamel on the bottom of a baking dish and create a first layer of rigatoni and proceed with the second layer of pasta distributing it evenly over the first.
Complete the layer evenly distributed on the pan.
Sprinkle same grated parmesan cheese on top and bake at 220 degree in to the oven until get gold and crispy on top.
Rest for an half hour and then eat at home or bring for a pic nic.
The baked pasta, if advanced, can be frozen in the refrigerator in a tightly closed container for a maximum of 2 days.
