Since my girlfriend and I are together, we started to go out in different restaurants to taste the different cultures and traditions of other cuisines. Grossi Fiorentino has always been on our to-go list.
A lot of people had good things to say about this restaurant, but the price has been a bit of a deterrent for us, reason why we waited a few months before finally deciding to book a table.
Grossi Florentino is known to be one of the most famous restaurants in Melbourne. Once there, we decided to go for the 5 and the 3 course degustations, where everything was really tasty, sophisticated and well presented, even though we didn’t quite appreciate a couple of dishes due to the strong smoky flavours.

One dish I personally really enjoyed and left me impressed was the dessert – the MELA Apple Terrine, Parsnip Custard, Caramelised Yoghurt, Frozen Fennel Meringue.
